Itinerary
Arrival in Colombo. Welcome by the Be Odyzy Tours team and transfer to your Negombo beach hotel. Spend the evening relaxing by the ocean.
Travel to Anuradhapura. Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on the way. Explore the ancient kingdom’s monuments, including the Sri Maha Bodhi and towering pagodas. Overnight in Anuradhapura.
Head to the east coast city of Trincomalee. Visit Mihintale rock temple en route. Explore Koneswaram Hindu Temple, Fort Frederick, and enjoy a swim at Marble Beach. Check into your Nilaveli beach hotel for the night.
Take a thrilling boat trip to Pigeon Island for snorkeling and scuba diving among colorful coral reefs and reef sharks. Spend the evening relaxing on Nilaveli Beach. Overnight in Nilaveli.
Wake up early for a boat trip to spot playful spinner dolphins and whales just off the coast. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure on the beach. Overnight in Nilaveli.
Travel back inland to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa to explore its well-preserved ruins. In the afternoon, enjoy a wildlife jeep safari in Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park. Overnight in Sigiriya.
Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress early in the morning. Optional hike up nearby Pidurangala Rock for stunning views. Enjoy a traditional village tour in Hiriwadunna, complete with a bullock cart ride and cooking demonstration. Overnight in Sigiriya.
Travel to Kandy. Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple and a Matale Spice Garden along the way. In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth and enjoy an evening cultural dance show. Overnight in Kandy.
Visit a gem museum and the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Travel up to Nuwara Eliya, visiting scenic temples, Ramboda Waterfall, and a working tea factory. Enjoy an evening stroll by Gregory Lake. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Early morning trek in Horton Plains National Park to see World’s End and Baker’s Waterfall. Return for a city tour of Nuwara Eliya, visiting Victoria Park and the old post office. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Travel to Ella to see the Nine Arch Bridge and climb Little Adam’s Peak. Continue down to the southern plains to Tissamaharama/Yala. Enjoy an evening jeep safari in Yala National Park. Overnight in Tissamaharama/Yala.
Take another early morning safari in Yala. Travel along the southern coast to Galle. Explore the historic Galle Dutch Fort and visit a turtle hatchery in Kosgoda. Overnight in Bentota.
Enjoy a glass-bottom boat trip over the Hikkaduwa coral reefs. Travel to Colombo, stopping for a Madu River boat safari and fish therapy. Check into your Colombo hotel.
Spend the day exploring Colombo. Visit the Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face Green, Lotus Tower, and the modern Port City. Overnight in Colombo.
Enjoy breakfast before your transfer to the airport for your departure.
